Because BREXIT is likely to cause SKILL SHORTAGES the UK is
going to increase Funding & Opportunity for VOCATIONAL EDUCATION.
Every BOY wants to be a PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLER and every
GIRL a successful POP STAR or ACTRESS but the opportunities
are 1000 to 1. On the other hand MEN & WOMEN qualified to be
HEALTH WORKERS ~ ELECTRICIANS ~ TEACHERS etc will always
find EMPLOYMENT anywhere in the WORLD (provided they have
the Language Skills) because their SKILLS are transferable !

Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ Pleased you enjoyed it ! We both believe in General Education for All (5 - 16) then an increasing Vocational Bias 16 - 18 and beyond ! The Majority have to work to earn a salary to survive !

Thanks UNSUB ~ The signs are that we will have BO JO with a working Majority after DECEMBER 12. He has promised to *GET B*E*I* done bt the end of January 2020* The sad thing is that B*E*I* was a cute WORD (compared with REMAIN !) and 52% of people voted for it without a clue of the IMPLICATIONS. We voted REMAIN ! Both Parties know that when implicated (it is the will of VOX POPULI) there WILL be a skill shortage ~ hence the emphasis on VOCATIONAL EDUCATION & APPRENTICESHIPS in both manifestos. I have put a POUND COIN in the swear box for mentioning *B* !

I'm a jack of all trades but master of none, they couldn't see once I'd leant the 3 basic skills, the rest was not fun. Best thing I did for me was just get to work, education is the key but still can't be done in the scales or volumes we wish to!
