If yu*ve never been to a THANKSGIVING DAY DINNER in the
USA ~ You haven*t lived. The video describes what food is eaten
but TURKEY & PUMPKIN PIE are essential ! Americans eat over
50 million Turkeys on Thanksgiving ! That is one Turkey per seven
people. Americans living in the UK always celebrate Thanksgiving !

Look, Fido was there in person! See him in the pic? He's about as old as me. A fine informative write B&A.
THANKS UNCLE STEVE (alias ANDY & MIKE !) ~ Well spotted who could miss HIM ? I always try to get a photo with FODO in ! His tail is wagging so HE obviously approves of the NATIVE AMERICANS !
Blessings to YOU & YOUR Historic Hound

Nice acrostic with lovely pointers on what Thanksgiving is too many....in our family itβs a day of feasting, camaraderie, and giving thanks for our family members serving abroad in the military.
OOOPS SORRY SARAH ~ I have sent a COMMENT instead of a REPLY please check the POEM ~ Thanks ~ BRIAN !
BRIAN HERE ~ I am astudent of American History and sharing a THANKSGIVING DINNER in America with Americans showed to Me just how important it is in the American Callendar ! I am interested in Native Americans and pleased that every State now has a Native American Visitor Centre and that is an important part of School History ~ They have a rich culture ! Personally I felt food that was served was superior to the which we enjoyed on Christmas Day with the same Family at Christmas. Of course Christmas is essentially still a Christian Celebration and Thanksgiving Day is Secular (Multi Faith) and observed by ALL AMERICANS ! I was nterested in your comment that for your Family it is a special time to remember Members of your extended Familiy serving abroad with the Military ~ AMEN
Blessings & Peace to You & Yours
Your Friends BRIAN & ANGELA ππ§‘
