An Unused Side โ€“ Strangers In Life

Nafis Light

People standing on the streets
Face covered with a mask;
Conversations covered with hands
Protecting a very secretive task.

When
Finding
A True Friend
Coming Home To
The Hidden Room Here
Watching People Talking
About Anything New...So...
Delighted...With Excitement...Run
Towards The Window...Opening...Knob
Smile...At Them...For Existing...Finally.

Chilling on the sides...with hood on,
Little Chats With Strangers...brings hope and blessing,
Another time and Another day,
More chats...times passing.

Lightning strikes back,
Strangers remain as strangers;
Still, smiles and Love;
Never knowing name...still smile and crack some laughters.

-
Blessings,

    I really like this poem. just the words and the tone of this poem .. makes for a great read ! )

    we will never get to truly know half of the ' strangers ' we meet but lucky when we make a friend out of one of them .

    i sometimes say random things to people .. say if i am in a shop in a queue or at a bus stop etc... its nice to just stop smile at someone and make small conversation.

  • ANGELA & BRIAN

    STRANGERS
    Weve found a kind of paradise in a flowers bloom
    Weve seen the end of a mystic land so close it meets the parting sun
    Weve shared the thoughts that two could share - we feel the truth - magic that we send

    Searching for something new
    Isle of Gold in flowers bloom

    Angela here - An awesome SONG - We can always learn somethings from STRANGERS and our MANTRA is *A Stranger is just a FRIEND you havent met* ! This explains WHY we try to welcome NEW MEMBERS to MPS and give them ENCOURAGEMENT as Poets and a welcome as NEWBEES !
    Your Poem (love the shape) covers similar ground) In the course of a Year we meet & converse (en passant) with hundreds of STRANGERS ! But Work Colleagues and those we meet @ Church and in Interest Groups (Poetry Circles (inc MPS) Lunch Clubs - Language Circles - etc ! We reckon after 10 meetings they become Acquaintances and after 20 Friends ! Because of our DISCOURSE we would consider YOU to be a Friend and vice-versa ! We invite Members to become MPS Friends but not ALL clique ! Some of our CYBER FRIENDS are more real than some of our Flesh & Blood Social Friends. On a site like MPS ~ because there are TROLLS ~ we reveal or ages (31 & 35) and that we currently live in Essex and our Occupations etc ! BUT we never post PHOTOS or reveal our true Names or e-mails or phone-numbers etc. Females are more vunerable on Chat Sites which is why I prefer to share with BRIAN rather than have my OWN SITE. Members have been very understanding about this. I have had sexually orientated messages on other sites but NOT this one so far ! Thanks for your POEMS - Comments & Cyber Friendship !

    Blessings & Peace & Joy to YOU & YOURS
    Love Angela & Brian ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก
    We send HEARTS as a token of shared Friendship !
