Sight

mcassie

I blend,

deep into the shadows.

They are oblivious.

I am a flicker of the light,

a blip in a glimpse,

nothing solid;

Translucent.

I am a skeleton,

in a shroud of hearts.

Do they see?

surely, they see my struggle

I am sinking,

in a current.

I am drowning.

Once again I am invisible;

Why can't they see me?
