My Demons

Tiffany_Arnold

I wake up in sweat and stare at my ceiling.
Wondering why these demons won't let go of me.
So I bow on my knees and pray heavily,
just so God can deny me for Eternity.

My demons scare the ghost of grace,
They are the ones who I can't replace.
You see if I didn't have them
I would be in a better place,
but my demons are the ones who keep me awake.
So I sing my song as I move along
Hoping someday,
I won't have to be strong.
