Ghetto kid innocence

SwigOne324

Every once in a blue moon
Memories creep inside rewinding eyes
Replaying thoughts of a ghetto child in the dirt with g.i. joes mama got at yard sales or the thift
All mama could afford her little kid
Brought water to her eyes thanking God for his innocence
Cause to the young boy It was years of happiness for the price of a couple cents
Loved to pretend driving plastic cars thru the muddy puddle he was sitting in.
Imagination and worn out toys became his only friends
Only thing in life at the time that wouldnt pick on him
toys didnt fight or pull pranks on lonely little kids
Never outta sight, showered with him when he came inside, even slept together thru the night keeping closest monsters outta sight
Waited patiently by his bedside as he left to school never going no where without telling em all goodbye
Childhood life of a ghetto boy when life was still alright
Only Part 1 to a poor kids life.
