"Not by blood but by heart"

camille09

We're so different yet we're so similar

Born on the same day of June and July

Basking in the memory when we wear same jeans and noire

I think of you as my sister, not by blood but by heart.

Greeting and transferring were our first chore

Grateful to have known you, whilst in the last few days of work

Realized how wonderful of a person you really are

I trust you like a real sister, not by blood but by heart.

We've laughed until we've cried and cried until we've laughed

Singing with me a father's song no matter ridiculously we sound

Even in my awkward silences and weirdness you understand

I thank you for being you, not by blood but by heart.
