Tom Wood

Do I dare to step into the unknown?

My cut hands shakily reach for escape

The fates call, I thought that I was alone

My eyes start to change, the shadows take shape

Now that I see what you meant, I regret

Black water falls into a deep, dark void

A sad, desperate act I cannot forget

Everything falls, you want to be destroyed

A solid black ledge, I sit on alone

Calls over the sound of rushing water

Do I dare to fall into the unknown?

Or do your dark thoughts give imprimatur?

My cut hands reach out for something to hold

As I tip and fall down into the cold

Did you fall or were you pushed? as they say! A fine write Tom.
