Alone waiting by the phone
Holding on to this frame the pictures don't feel the same, mistakes were made we turned our separate ways, regret is the only thing that stayed.
Maybe a few words could have made you stay
But I guess it's too late
Wish I would have rushed through that hall,right before you closed that door, hold you by the hand show you that I can't stand, the thought alone makes me drop to my knees, but I could not get my self to beg and plea. This room is dark I am left with your thoughts
I am Lossing my way, it's not what I thought it's not what I wanted to see, spring has passed cold winter nights, love in disguise some tears in the rain I am hiding my pain. Our paths won't meet, will never see you again just some picture stuck in my brain
What good does this all do with out YOU.....

HI NEMO ~ Welcome to MPS ! It is a FRIENDLY sute ad operates by READING & COMMENTING on each other POEMS ! Thnaks for sharing your first Poem ! A powerful but sad Subject ~ well expressed full of Rhymr & Rhythm. Im 36 and had many missed chances ~ BUT ~ Angela (31) is my Fiancee and we are getting married in April 2020 ~ SO She is one wonderful CHANCE I havent missed ~ AMEN This is a GOOD Poem but to read & recite better I would suggest a better poetic spacing ~ OK ! This is not a criticism ~ just a suggestion !

Hope that helps ~ I have divided it into three separate verses (without altering any of the words) to make it more readable (I am a performance Poet !) and emphasise the internal & external rhyming.
