You fought a battle so long ago
Demons follow you wherever you go
Alcohol and drugs numb your pain
No matter what you cannot refrain
Your cries for help and no one is there
Your eyes are empty just a blank stare
Anger lingers, your mad at the world
You dream of seeing your little girl
Alcohol and drugs numb your pain
You have everything to lose and nothing to gain
You pray one day god will answer your prayers
And life cuts you a break and things become fair
Living on the streets, its time to change
Ask for help to fix your pain.
