Chosen Path

sarahlynne

She dreamed she'd be an astronaut,

but came to know a different world.

How could she help, her constant thought.

For one so young, she was wise,

Her role in life she came to see,

To serve her country, that her prize,

She chose the sea, made her mark,

Not so magical as an astronaut,

Still the journey she chose to embark.

Into danger again she’ll sail,

Always close in heart she will be,

This new mission, she will not fail.
