I caught a small glimpse of your soul today

Behind that beautiful smile and those impressionable eyes.

I watched you unlock just a little part of you

And although I know you think I wouldn’t like what I seen

I can promise you I like all of your in-between.

I want to be the place you hide all your darkness

I’ll keep it safe with me in a place it can’t get to you.

I’ll smother it with happiness and choke out all the sadness

I’ll wrap it in love and wish it away

I’ll stay by your side and hold your hand next to mine

I’ll wipe away each tear and we can fight of all your fears

I want to be the happy that makes you feel alive

I want to be the reason you wake up with a smile

I want to fall asleep every night with you in my arms

Can i keep you?

Don’t answer that yet For before you do, I want you to see everything you deserve in me.

HI ANGELA 1711 - Angela here ! I share this site with my Fiance BRIAN ! Love the PATHOS and sincerity in Your elegant Love Poem straight from your HEART - As all love Poems should be ! Your POEM has great RHYTHM and I love the *Free Verse* style because you are not restricted by Rhyme ! I love your POEM because it expresses how I feel about BRIAN ! We are getting married in April we are 31 & 36 ! It takes time to find the right person ! We dont cohabit (We are Youth Leaders in our Church) - but every now & again - we unlock a little more of ourselves for each other ! So far we love all of each other ! We were 11,500 miles apart for 15 months (I was on *Work Exchange* in Auckland NZ as a Physiotherapist) and now we are back together (Essex UK) we want to be together forever - like in Your Beautiful Poem ! We KNOW we are a *Match made in Heaven* !
