Side of Faced Down - Twos

Nafis Light

Having twos of everything,
It is a good thing...isn’t it?
One is for the present;
The other is the future...like a spare kind of thing.

Not really in regards to people
because they are in fact irreplaceable
but just to say like...having two friends...or
close friends, they could be pillars that make us soar.

Two Personalities?
Let’s not go there;
Two Faces like Personas?
Sure...it is situational-wise...like being there, but somewhere.

Two Lives?
Oh, this is something interesting indeed;
Careful...is all,
Need to be very very strong...or might just...fall.

  • ANGELA & BRIAN

    Angela here ! Thanks for sharing J44 ! The MANTRA - *It takes TWO toTANGO* is very true ! Brian & I were both SINGLE (and hurting !) before we met each other - now we grow happier every day because we are TWO hearts beating as ONE ! We both love dancing and I am teaching BRIAN FLAMENCO. He is very GUAPO (Manly) and slim enough to wear the SUIT ! We have performed togther for the Seniors Group @ College - we got a Standing Ovation ! We have each other - Two sets of Parents - Two Pads but soon just ONE HOUSE . We are not schitzophrenic but our personalities are different but since our ENGAGEMENT - we are morphing into ONE ! Despite our advanced AGES (31 & 36) we have never cohabited - so living together after we are married in APRIL will be a very NEW experience of TOGETHERNESS - AMEN !

    Blessings & Peace to YOU & YOURS
    Love ANGELA & BRIAN ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿงก

    Thanks for sharing that mantra. I think that there are some or certain similar counterparts to that phrase/mantra...and it was something that I used to like, but I don't really remember it since I don't go so much into dancing...anymore.
    It relates more to dancers in a way, as in...dancers or people who are interested in 'Dance' are much likely to remember that mantra/phrase more than anyone else.

    I have this book called 'The Wise Body: Conversations with Experienced Dancers'.
    They interviewed with those selected dancers regarding their journey in dance, their own beliefs/philosophies regarding dance...and what they think it means for the future/world.
    It was the first and only book which I highlighted the useful/meaningful quotes by those dancers.

    Thank you for your comment and Bright Blessings,
