The Box

A passing lyric

Help! I'm stuck!

stuck inside this box

the seams are tight

there is no light

It's seems the lid is locked.

Help! My lungs!

they cannot fill with air

there's no where to

let fresh air through

and no one seems to care.

Help! My eyes!

In this dark, they are blind

no piercing light

to aid my sight

and no one seems to mind.

Help! My legs!

there's no room here to grow

you upped and left

left me depressed

without mentioning you'd go.

Help! The box!

Its crumbled to the floor

the walls fell down

the box just drowned

in the heavy rain, stormy downpour.
