doomed love

justbereal

a story never told

I held my heart but lost my soul

To someone who never cared

Love is play, it does not matter if it is fair, right?

But that is how most fairytales come to it is end, right?

the man wines and dines

than sleeps besides

Everything looks dimmed but bright

Like the darkest nights with candle lights

Atmosphere unfamiliarity and insecurity but hope.

Hope, that on the earth were we all walk besides people with empty souls driven by greed for the slightest satisfaction of their own desires there is someone who shares the slightest warmth in our heart ignited by the  brokenness and emptiness someone else had left us in.

That hope turns into a dime that shines brighter than the early sunrise, but don’t let it blind,

You because of the tears in your eyes.

Because as we walk my friend you and I.

we all mutter lies, as love is merely a doomed greed for human affection and companionship. because YOU only love yourself.

The funny thing is that none of us are really able to love until we can love ourselves first. That isn't always easy to achieve. Our parents can make it a difficult process if they damage us.

I agree the lack of self love due to parental love resulted into not being able to completely love myself, and this has resulted many lovers of mine to walk out on me.

Sympathy mate. Similar background myself. Keep writing on here, it's surprising how self theraputic your own poetry can be. Many seem to benefit from it and it certainly helps to get to know yourself.
If you read other peoples stuff on here you might find yourself closer to that self love.
