Just me

Nobody special

In the morning she sings

In the night she cries

In the dawn she smiles

In the dusk she frowns

Who is that angel?

Beware the witch

Let’s go hang out tomorrow

If you weren’t such a bitch

You words are like sugar

Your eyes are filled with dread

I wish I knew you better

I hope you burn to the death

Those hobbies are cute

Those obsessions are weird

If you jump I’ll jump

I won’t waste my tears

I wonder why people believe

The same person can’t be more

Why the shell that defines me

Isn’t just a way of means

I wish I was happier

Like you want me to be

But I can’t do that for you

Because I’m just me

Because I’ll still be me
