Fading Into Memory

Kurt Philip Behm

This morning,

my body stopped in

to say goodbye

Thanking me

for the joy

Forgiving me

for the pain

Fading into

 memory

—one last time

Point Counterpoint

No mountain more imposing

than an idea

No gun more deadly

than intent

No cruelty more powerful

than love

No lie more convincing

—than the truth
