THE PUBLICATION OF THE FIRST PERIODIC TABLE ~ DIMITRI MENDELEEV ~ 1869
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1869 ~ More than Seventy
Of the Ninety-two natural Elements
Hydrogen to Uranium were known !
Several Chemists were convinced ~ based on their
Chemical & Physical properties ........
That the known Elements could be arranged
In Periodicity based Table !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Different from other Chemists ~ Mendeleev
Left gaps in his Table ~ for Elements
Yet to be discovered ! He suggested
The Atomic Weights of some Elements
Might be incorrect ! PERIODIC TABLE
Shown above ~ is based on Mendeleevs !
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thanks for reading ~ please add your own Poem A 💛 B
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mendeleev is considered a Genius because his Periodic
Table was based on the then known Chemical & Physical
properties of over seventy known Natural Elements out
of 92. In 1869 the sub-atomic particles Electrons - Protons
and Neutrons had not been discovered ! or the Noble
Gases (He Ne A Kr Xe & Rn). Also the fact that Elements
could exist with different atomic masses called Isotopes
such as Cl (35) and Cl (37) etc. We consider that the
Periodic Table of Mendeleev is one of the greatest outcomes
of Chemical Intelectualism in the 19th Century ~ A & B.
