Humble Pain

HumblePain

Tears recall the pain so well

Eyes sag red as they swell

Heart pounds sadly

Looking into the mirror

As it looks at me,

Disconnected by family

When I fade

I'll have no family tree

Wondering trying to find my peace

It's in those arms I'm happily,

I have trusted so many

That have in return stabbed me

Loved so hard

Now only one shall have me

Would have died

For others to grow freely,

I carry the pain like a baby

So others can learn from me

These wounds may never heal fully

But her love has been my aid

So I won't die

From what they prayed the pain

Would do to me.
