My Everything

markziff

You were the love of my life,
My air that I breathe.
You were my soul, my happiness,
The reason I need.

You were my light, my dark,
My moon, and my stars in the sky.
You were my ups, my downs,
My reason to try.

You were my strength, my weakness,
My love from the start.
You are my heartache, my pain,
The beating of my heart

You are my tears, my hope, my joy,
I miss the love you could bring .
You were my world, my universe,
My everything.

  • Fay Slimm.

A scent of love's death with romance sadly lost in these words of past tense - so appealingly written Mark.

Thank you, not a day passes without tears.
