Dogs generally respond to the Mother Tongue of the Country they are in ! When we are in Spain to attract a DOG we say PERRO AQUI (come here Dog) or if it is a BITCH ! England, Great Britain or the United Kingdom will never be separate to Europe. We were part of Europe long before we entered into the 'common market' or EU and we shall remain so, but free of the EU restrictive rules.
All those who truly believe that Brexit is 'terminally' bad for us are hopefully making plans to leave this country in order to 'survive' somewhere else!
Bon apres midi DA ~ meci pour votre comment ! I agree The British Isles have always been ~ geographically ~ an integral part of Continental Europe always will be ! A priori Europe is our largest Continental Trading Partner and European imigarants are an essential & integral part of our Labour force & vice-versa. There are also many Cultural and Academic exchenges ~ it not all about Money & Trade & Commerce. Angela has joint Nationality (Su Padre es Espanol) this (and our ages 36 & 31) and other logistics is why we voted REMAIN in 2016.
Cameron (hassled by Farage & UKIP) called the Referendum in 2016 ~ expecting a 60 : 40 for REMAIN and was so horrified by the narrow defeat (52 : 48) he jumped ship and disappeared without trace ! Theresa ~ who is an honourable Women ~ took the helm but she did not believe in *Winner takes All* sought a compromise deal (half in & half out) to appease both BREXIT & REMAIN ! This was rejected not only by CORBYN (because She was a Tory) but also the Tory Brexiteers led by BORIS ! So an honourable deal went down the PLUGHOLE !
Boris was elected PM and won an 80 seat majority ! WHY ? Because once again Farage intervened and only stood in seats which would split the Labour vote. Despite this the Conservative Party have refused to have anything to do with Him and. the ephemeral Brexit Party won ZERO Seats in Parliament. So Farage now has no authority either inside or outside Parliamentand the WINNER (BORIS) takes all ! Hceowever as a recent TV porgramme showed without FARAGE there would be no BREXIT and no danger of SCOTLAND severing itself from the Union to stay in the EU. Those of us who are alive & remain in the Isolationist & Little Islander UK will have to pick up the pieces and pay the price of BREXIT. As wih Gobal Warming it is those of us who are under 40 who will bear the brunt ! Watch this SPACE !

Thnaks for your response DA. Of course I appreciate that you like me have lived through the past 5 years and have taken (as voting Adults) a keen interst in the factors leading up to the Referendum in 2016 and what has transpired SINCE ! Becaus the vote was almost 50:50 The Democratic Solution should have reflected this ! Not *Winner takes All* which is what BORIS & FARAGE want *Get Brexit Done & pick up the pieces afterwards* Boris has too big a Majority which in some ways is just as bad as a HUNG PARLIAMENT. The proportional voting was CON 13.9 M LAB 10.3 M LIB DEM 3.7 M. With Democratic Proportional Representation BORIS would have a much lower Overall Majority. The Demo graphics of the Vote in 2016 is also interesting. Of those over 65 about 70% chose BREXIT (because it wont effect their pensions etc) whle 70% of Young People chose REMAIN because they knew if we had a POOR EXIT they would suffer economically etc. I rest our case. Where we differ is how we interpret the LIKELY OUTCOME of Tomorrows Deal !
