What’s wrong with Kitten? It’s a name
or Tulip; or Lark, yes they’re things,
but beautiful things, like Angels:
Free from choice, and imperfection.
But I think I forgot that you’re
not a thing; and not the same as
a tool, unmarked by stamp or brand,
not nothing. What’s wrong with it, then?
Even angels want to be free.

This is quite nice. I enjoyed it.
A fine write R. And as is said; 'Yes, love' or 'dear' or 'hun' (honey), or whatever pet-names we use!
Ah a pet names for a person yayy those sound cute and cool the ones you mentioned. Super poem, cute and lovely. Thumbs up.
