Losing The Loveliest Love

Adrianna Kjeld

You put our love to the test

Your heart 56 beats; at rest

I would know,

time well spent with my head on your chest.

Since the day I met you I thought you were the best.

You stuck to me like glue when I thought I was a pest.

When your head hangs low;

don't let your aspirations slow!

We have so much more to do;

we have so much more to grow.

You spread your wings but you won't fly.

Don't watch yourself turn 50 and want nothing but to DIE!

Take an opportunity, take a risk!

Do it now, don't worry about the consequence.

Your mind and body on the prow.

Maybe in a year or three  you'll give yourself a bow.

But, right now you're killing me.

Negativity is drilling large holes through me.

Waiting for the right time to leave you,

Alone.

But not forever.

You think I don't see what you do?

You must think you're so clever.

Stipulation of your manipulation;

Landed us in strange situations.

But

I'm training you and you're training me, I've got you and you've got me but lord don't forsake us with someone numbered three.
