Catching Words

sylviasearcher

Birds drum a sweet remembrance

Scratching my veneer

Penetrating my illusion

Willing me to see

The rose hue in the sky

Not mine

Words slip fingers into my neediness

Opening my ugliness

Masturbating my ego

Pushing me to feel

The beast of man’s breath

Not mine

Fairytales fascinate my darkness

Dissecting my flesh

Cremating my dreams

Daring me to realise

The reality of restlessness

Not mine

I spew my guts into consciousness

Unwrapping riddles

Disrobing beauty

Willing you to see

The fullness of my empty eyes

Still

Not

Mine
