political prognosticator pundits
no longer remain mum
between Donald John Trump,
whose second term win,
would find yours truly numb
versus Joseph Robinette Biden Junior
could infuse flickering
uneasiness among electorate
(quite a few skool
of hard knocks alum
including yours truly),
who attests surfing cyber seas
as seasoned beach bum
up until this moment
feeling rather glum
regarding fate of American democracy
fizzling, muckraking, and sputtering
linkedin with kickstarting,
snapchatting, and twittering
along ever so ho hum
awaiting fateful deliverance
as dueling banjos strum
meanwhile irritable bowel syndrome
nsync with nausea
bubbling, gurgling, quickening
within collective tum
no doubt alleviated chugging,
guzzling, and quaffing
countless bottles Bacardi rum.
Nothing less at stake than (an ill eagle
feebly clutching cherished symbols - regal
representing land of the free and
home of the brave
analogous to once buoyant seagull
encompassing United States)
metaphorical snooping Beagle
only finding peanuts after landing
discovery (of America) triggering extralegal
imbroglios, which courtesy...
Thank manifest destiny
wrought accursed land grab,
where survival of fittest (think militarily)
nonchalantly, insouciantly actually
quite aggressively did nab
great juicy fruited plain continental slab

once stood tall and proud

BRIAN HERE ~ Good eveing Stuart ! What happened in Pennsylvania in 2016 to allow Trump to win their 20 Electoral Votes by 0.72% 44,292 votes out of nearly 6 million ? Did Hillary take it for granted She would win after BILL had won it twice in 1992 & 1996 ? It was expected to Vote Democrat in 2016. Do you think TRUMP can win it again in November ? God forbid ! He hasn*t been a good President but the Democrats seem disunited with to two Seniors (77 & 78) as front runners. You want somebody Young & Male like JFK or OBAMA to have a chance of trumping TRUMP ! Unfortunately AMERICA sometimes gets the PRESIDENT it deserves ! BILL had his shortcomings but he got the ECONOMY RIGHT (Its also smiling on Businessman Trump). I like BILL and met him in Little Rock in 2004 ~ Maybe Hillary should have run then instead of JOHN KERRY. Hillary won the Popular vote in 2016 but lost some States (Like Pennsylvania) narrowly. In the end its Electrol College Votes that count. I am UK Labour (Socialist) so I would have voted for Hillary ! Boris Johnson (SON OF TRUMP) won a big majority (over 80 seats) in the 2019 UK Election because Jeremy Corbyn was too Left Wing and also People didnt think he would make a good PM. Labour (Socialist) are now selecting a New Leader ! The next General Election in the UK will be in 2024. I want the DEMOCRATS to win in November but personally I think BIDEN (77) & SANDERS (78) are too old and yesterdays MEN. I feel Hillary had more CHUTZPAH than either of them ~ but (alas) too much baggage. I am a student of 20th Century American History and was born in LIVERPOOL the 51st State !
