Darkness Forever

Piled in a room full of people 

Listening to meaningless conversations.

Everything suddenly goes dark.

Around me is no one, nothing

Somewhere in the distance I see a light.

Eager to escape the darkness, I run towards it,

However, the closer I get, the further I am

Eventually, I give up.

Lying on the ground, I wonder how I got here

Part of me always wanted this, to be alone.

Mostly because I just wanted the pain to stop

Eventually it did; no one can hurt me anymore
