A Broken Love by RLD
A trip as friends is where it began
We stood by the river as cupid rang
Our hearts had touched and souls connected
A sudden love you didn't want and had neglected
A kiss was all it needed to spark
But for a while our feelings stayed in the dark
For weeks after my gaze was fixed
I had eyes for one of the coolest chicks
Perhaps she felt the same way too
Though her past wouldn't let those feelings loose
But a love so pure cant be contained
My entire heart had found its name
I had never thought this day would come
Had I really found the one?
