happiness (iv)

mmoonshine

Notice of absence from mmoonshine
i’m here for a good time, not a long time.

happiness (iv)

she noticed the smallest things,

the things i knew mattered to her.

for example, the time we spent at the beach.

i hate the beach,

i forget about it everything every time she smiles,

because love does that to people.

love blinds us,

even when everyone can see,

that we’re not meant to be.

love is like you,

existing all together,

but not forever.

A lovely poem. Love is really strange, true love will never change.

True love won't have you feeling like that you know. I'm guessing you're learning about love. What you describe is a love which cannot mature into true love. Other loves will come and go, each teaching. The biggest lesson of all though, is the lesson of learning to love ones self. Until we love ourselves, we cannot fully love another.

Great poem though. Really descriptive without turning into a dirge we see all too often on mps.
