I loved you from the start.
But no one knew,
So we grew further apart.
I couldn’t live without you,
It was breaking my heart
When you said with hope,
That it really wasn’t me you loved.
Dancing on a tightrope,
I’m gonna fall,
But wait, you catch me,
It’s a close call.
Looking through a telescope,
I can read the stars.
It’s hard to believe,
But you are my light,
Standing afar.
It’s sad and almost depressing,
I can’t have you.
I can’t stop crying.
I’m a total idiot for thinking,
That someday, just someday,
You could be mine.
It’s so unfair.
I’m going mad.
I’m already deaf,
What more pain can I have,
If I’m feeling blind?
It doesn’t matter now,
I’ve been hurt enough.
I’m so glad I’m young,
I don’t have to allow.
You’re out of my life.
I’m over you now.
But wait I can’t.
You’re my one true love.
I’ve never liked someone like you
This much before.
I don’t deserve to live.
No one’s going to love me.
What more matters in my life,
If he’s never going to arrive.
Forgive me, please,
I’m so done with this crap,
I’m ready to feel
My body freeze up.
My life is a trap.
I need to escape
From these prison bars.
Even if it means
Chasing those cars.
Goodbye, my love,
My family, my friends,
I wish I could stay, but,
I’m a slut,
A coward, a burden.
But don’t worry,
I’ll get out of your way, but,
Remember this,
Be kind and honest.
It’s always best
To love everyone,
Even yourself.
Although I could never
Seem to love myself,
I’ll always love you,
And that’s enough.
