We say our goodbyes,
We say our farewells,
We embrace each other;
We then let go,
because we have to move forward
because we have to look ahead;
because we have to walk forward...there
where the Sun Rises;
where the Path Opens;
where Our Heart Opens Up;
where Our Mind Brightens.
We let go of certain things in order to live on better;
We are then in much peace with the past, present, and future.

- Comment from author about the poem: While making this, it came to me that...despite what goes on in the world, I am able to keep on doing this (postings). I am not ignoring those things, but I am remembering and doing certain things that I am committed to do...and I am not spreading negativity by posting things like this one here. There is no reason to stop doing something that we stand for and committed to do...especially if it brings meaning to ourselves and that if it is a positive thing.
