Past Memory

PoeticBiscuit

Remembering past memories,

Of things that were never meant to be,

Regret building up within my chest,

She was just a curse but felt so blessed,

Oh what I would do to rewind time,

Id go the distance I’d cross the line,

Her poison touch felt so sublime,

Both broken souls of kindred kind.

Ha! the bitter sweet of the one that got away, or was cast aside. But are you just recalling the juicy bits LOL.

Well written, PB! When memories are all that's left, off we go to make new ones!

We can't rewind time, instead we can renew it in a corrected version, living a sweeter life that is never to be regretted again.
