That's Tuesday

Afternoontea

Soft thick silky grey fur, Rasping pink tongue, Shiny yellow eyes, Long curved fluffy tail, Big strong paws, sharp claws and an attitude. That's Tuesday.

Wraps around my legs, hes telling me what he wants. Licking his lips with anticipation, Feed me his eyes say. Feed me now. Leads me to the kitchen with a confident swagger. That's Tuesday.

He eats his food like it was his last meal . Food topples over the bowl, scatters on the floor. Licks up the final moresoles. Cleans all the evidence away. That's Tuesday.

A gentle headbutt. Forces his head under my hand. I stroke him from nose to the tip of his tail. A rumbling pleasurable purr. That's Tuesday.

And that's one delightful poem. You lucky person having such a wonderful friend.

I really enjoyed reading this and brought a smile to my face and my insides.

Thankyou for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed it. He is such a character. I hope your insides feel warm and fuzzy. Everybody needs a cuddly friend who doesn't speak and pretends to listen to them. 😁
