And as real as the tears
That are falling
From every crying eye inside the room
Their stories paint the colours
Of every version of you
And as real as the voice
That keeps calling
The daughter of the father taken to soon
She wraps her arms round her shoulders
And takes one last dance with you
There's a thousand goodbyes
Still Left unsaid..
And a thousand words
We'll probably regret
For the good that that will do
There's a thousand memories
Up In the air
In the air that is filled with you
It's okay to go with the angels
One day they'll come for me too
It's okay I'll see you soon
And as real as the hurt
In their grievance
Is their fortune for knowing you
You knew how to treat other people
And make them feel human too
And as real as the pride
He is showing
The son of the old man stands in his shoes
He cradles his own son by the ocean
And takes one last walk with you
There's a thousand goodbyes
We left unsaid..
And a thousand words
We'll probably regret
For the good that that will do
There's a thousand memories
Up In the air
In the air that is filled with you
It's okay to go with the angels
One day they'll come for me too
It's okay I'll see you soon
