And we can’t stand it!
You have taken many lives
Many, Many; Nationwide

Because of you we are asked to abide
To “Stay at home”
“Together Alone”
So, others can survive
Coronavirus
You have forced change
Affecting school and business
Our lives, Now Rearranged
New Rules, Job Reduction
Causing Dysfunction; Destruction
Coronavirus
You have caused Financial Recession
Causing Depression
No Social Functions- New Ways of Communications
BUT! Coronavirus
You made Tik-Tok famous
With our time becoming more creative.
We are doing puzzles and reading
NO Restaurants- so we are at home cooking!
Parents and children spending time together- playing
Coronavirus
You thought you took away church.
But church is a people
Through social media we are reachable
Pastors preaching from His Word
Christ gospel, is now more then ever is being heard

Easter is Coming! We will be Worshipping
Because Christ love is still Running
Rushing and Overflowing
Coronavirus
Honestly, you can’t stay!
Christ is gonna have His way!
You’ve brough death, But He brings life!
For that Reason, we must Fight!
We will not Give Up! We have had enough!
No! 2020 you are not what we have Vision
Corona took the beginning months
But we won’t remain in the dumps
Coronavirus, we aren’t locked, stuck, imprisoned: Christ is Still Risen

- Comment from author about the poem: The virus has caused so much change. But this poem is a reflection of the negative of the virus, but also to bring hope that we will overcome! We will get through this together. If we go on social media, watch the news it becomes overbearing seeing the statistics of the positive testing and deaths. I hope this poem brings peace. I do encourage people to write, be creative again. Take light in the small things of things, check on your friends. Just do not allow this virus to get you down to depression. We are in this together.

It's true Genesia. Hopefully a renewed surge of faith at the Easter season, though it may be the strangest Easter we ever experience.

I am a Physiotherapist and work in a Hospital ! Ive only been married two weeks - I do trust the Lord I wont get COVID 19 ~ Pray for me we live in perilous times ! I love the positives in the second half of your elegant Poem. God always provides Positives for lifes Negatives like COVID 19 ! Home Cookin* - Prayer Meetings & Bible Study on line & People hearing Preachin* on line etc - AMEN. Easter is a great time to remember the Crucifixion as Gods answer to Mans Sin. COVID 19 will come & go - but JESUS is consistent *The Same - Yesterday - Today & Forever* AMEN ! Thanks for sharin* please check our site !
