Tainted Utopia

xeina

Let's play pretend for some time

I'll be your favorite fairy tale

We'll look upon the horizon

And towards the sunset we will sail

Let our thoughts darken like the sky

Let's shout our secrets to the stars

Let's free our tainted souls

Let's tell 1000-word-memoirs

Let the wind carry our whispers

For the wind is light today, my friend

There are no storms, no regrets

And we would not break or bend

But be my poison for tonight

For I tend to escape reality

Be my cherished getaway

Grant me liberty, amnesty

O' wind, carry my neglected bones away

O' stars, listen to my poignant tragedies

What are we but toxic beings?

Indeed, we are calamities, fallacies: abnormalities
