32 weeks not pregnant

I am 32 weeks not pregnant

I dont have a bump

Or leaky boobs

And I dont feel you wriggle inside me

I don't have a cot

Or a wardrobe of clothes

Or a family waiting to meet you

 

I got to 9 weeks pregnant

And your little heart beat stopped

But for all us unexpecting expecting mothers

The next painful 7 months come 

 

On the 29th of may

The day

I was due to meet you...

When it finally comes along

I will stop being full term not pregnant

And I'll be a suffering mum

 

But for now my empty pregnancy continues

And my due date will draw near

And I'll spend every waking second

Wishing you were here.
