THERE ARE 100s of Disadvantages of LOCKDOWN ! The only Advantages seem to be Peace & Quiet & Solitude. One of the main Disadvantages is all the Pubs & Restaurants are closed. Consequently we all have to COOK & EAT @ HOME. For Easter Sunday we*ve chosen Lamb Casserole ~ served with creamy mash & extra veg & a nice smooth Rioja Tinta ! The Poem is the Recipe and it serves SIX. If the weather holds we could invite Our Folks (WHO LIVE CLOSE !) to eat in the Garden. Its big enough to sit six feet apart !
Five hundred grams of nice lean Lamb
Remove fat & bone & cut in pieces
Lean Bacon Lardons ~ just one hundred gram
One large Onion ~ specially for your Nieces !
Five hundred grams of yummy Carrots ~ chopped
Four sticks of Cel-er-y ~ finely sliced
Rosemary ~ Bay Leaves & Garlic popped
We really want this bad-boy ~ highly SPICED !
Seven hundred mils of tasty Lammy Stock
Tomato puree - bigspoon - added to the WOK !
Brown the onion - lardons & the Lamb
Add Veggies - Herbs - Tomatoes & the Stock
Simmer two hours and serve with Veg & Mash ~ bang wham !
Straight to the table from the steamin* WOK !

Life is strange in LOCKDOWN it dont seem like Easter Weekend and tomorrow should have been my Big Wedding Day ! However the bonus has been three weeks of extra Married Life snug in our own little nest ~ getting to know each other more intimately ~ say no more ! There is lots of Easter Music ~ but I thought you would all appreciate Montys Cool Clarinet. A beautiful instrument equally acceptable in Jazz - Big Band & Classical. We are all communicatin* & worshippin* using ZOOM - phone & email etc, and we are all supporting each other and especially the elderly & lonely ~ AMEN. Im off till Tuesday so Brian & I will have plenty of Walks ~ Picnics & Sunbathing en Casa Nuestra ! Next week we should have been Honeymooning (Luna de Miel) in Sevilla Del Sol but we have booked it for 2021 for our First Wedding Anniversary ! We have to plan ahead or we would implode ! B Here ~ Thanks UNCLE STEVE ~ It sure was will be tasty with Mash & Peas. When I was preparing the Lamb I took the bone out and saved it for my furry Friend Fido ! Its in the freezer ~ Ill bring it when the lockdown is over !
