AT EASTER (which coincides with the Jewish Passover) Christians Worldwide celebrate the DEATH (Good Friday) & RESURRECTION (Easter Sunday) of JESUS ~ The Son of God. Paul stated *If CHRIST did not rise from Death ~ then our FAITH is worthless !* The Resurrection of JESUS is one of the Key Doctrines of the Christian Faith. It is an essential part of the CREED.
R ESURRECTION from Physical Death is
E xceptional. JESUS was pronounced DEAD
S ealed in a tomb for three days. His followers were
U nable to enter. BUT the stone was mysteriously
R olled away ~ allowing Peter & John to
R ealise the tomb was EMPTY ! When they
E ntered in ! The grave shroud was there but the Body of JESUS
C HRIST was absent ! Ladies came with spices
T o embalm CHRIST*S Body. Two ANGELS appeared and told them *He
I s not here ~ He is RISEN !* The RISEN JESUS spoke to Mary Magdelene
O ne of the Women and said *Go and tell my Disciples ~ Im ALIVE !*
N ine of them met the Risen JESUS & Believed in the RESURRECTION !

Should it be 10 disciples? Judas Iscariot had gone by then, and Thomas was not there at first.

2. Because initially JI and Thomas were absent
3. When they told Thomas ~ he wanted Physical
proof it was JC ~ and he still doubted.
4. When he acctually met the Risen Jesus ~ He
said *My Lord & My God* Seeing is Believing

BRIAN HERE ~ Thanks for your encouragement FINEB. The Resurrection is one of the most important Christian Doctrines. Angela & I are both well. I off work and very busy paintng & decorating our first Home (weve been married three weeks !) and renervating the Garden (great weather 70+ F !). Angela is working in the Hospital (Orthopedic & Physio). Between us we aim to post a new Poem every day !
