third eye

jakesevern

where’s that third eye
when you need it to see?
past all the fear and anxiety
wish it had a button I could press
on and off real quick
maybe these quarantine blues wouldn’t stick to me so competently
but there are no shortcuts to inner peace; try to find it through sprinting and the universe will say “please,
life is a marathon, a strength and power match.” needs consistency to have the results you want
but if we keep going one step at a time, get that last rep in
we will be seeing above and around
high stepping around toxic obstacles
eye both firmly in the sky
and the ground
third eye open
soul hoping
