She sat there and wept
Her life was such a wreck
Lost within the wretched mess
A flower more special than the rest
Beauty unseen by wandering eyes
This rejection was as much a shock as it was a surprise
A desire for a better life
was superseded by inherited strife
She held out her hand
looking for someone to lead
She couldn't foresee how many would try to deceive
When sympathy for her pain runs thin
I hope she'll still see the beauty within

I'm sure there is much beauty within for life's disappointments are teachers of the soul. Learning what love is pours from the eyes of experience.
