Of all the the houses,
in all the cities,
in all of Florida,
why did she have to,
come to mine?
I am doing fine,
on my own.
I never had,
any help before,
and now it seems,
as though my life,
has turned upside down.
Yet, what can I do?
She has done nothing wrong.
Rather, she has done,
nothing but right.
So I think this is the beginning,
of something beautiful.

- Comment from author about the poem: For those who do not know - The title of this piece, the first five lines, and the last two lines - were all taken from the classic movie, 'Casablanca'. I hope you enjoy this piece. Persistence is key
