Communion

efratiska

I've felt the need

to rush out

when the clouds are dark

and the winds are a-whirling

the crack of thunder a mere breath away

and to scream

Let the energy pulsing in the air

entreat the anger within me

the frustration

to rear and cry out

A cry of sheer madness to echo through the heavens

leaving me

limp,

throat raw,

feverish skin against cool earth
