stolen glances

snehith pradeep

Glances stolen, heart frozen

Beauty such he never experienced

Watched and waited did he from a distance

fated to never come together

Truth was rather bitter

Mourned over what was lost

went ahead to face life with a heavy, regret filled heart

Time flew, memories grew along but,

Existed forever in his heart was her beautiful, moonlike smile; which he carried through every mile.
