VE Day we shall overcome till we meet again

"A call of duty, God, King and Country, the Tommys march on to a distant lands. The tyrant digs in, beaches pill boxes and barbed wire, hell on earth, bombs and bunkers.
My buddies fall left and right, but we march on by the will of god and prayers of our loved one's. God king and country.

The time has come to liberate no price to heavy, no sacrifice to teary, no blood no tears are shed in vain. Never we despaired in difficult times, for thy Kingdom of Heaven awaits for thee. God king and country.

We fought the tyrant on air sea and land.
So many souls are laid to rest but never to be forgotten. God king and country. We salute thee.

The generations of my fathers will always be best remembered as liberators of Europe and defenders of my England. I long to see the white cliffs of dover my England a sigh of relief and my true love awaits for thee. I made a promise my love, till we meet again. I live in hope as do many of my brothers in arms shoulder to shoulder.

The ultimate sacrifice of Nations at the alter of God, the alter of Freedom for Generations to come.

Today on VE Day 75th anniversary we the nation salute and remember the courage and the sacrifice of the fallen, and the men and women at home who kept the nation strong.  Today we celebrate this day as one nation in every town city and village before God Queen and Country.

On the 8th May 1945 the guns of the Tyrant falls silent. A grey silence prevails on fallen Souls. A mist covers far as the eye can see, on
Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword. The union flies high and proud the bells toll across my England the sounds of Victory in Europe.

The end of tyranny the end of War.

God king and country, God king and country.

To mark this day on Earth we lay this Wreath, in Heaven you lay in Piece. For we Honour thee Services, Air, Sea an Land. We salute your Courage and Sacrifice. For you are the Guardians of my Freedom.

As silence befalls in the place of my being, from here too Eternity for thy King Queen & Country.

In the Year of Our Lord 8th May 2020.
