ANGELA & I ARE IN OUR 30s ~ To Young to have any big regrets ! We are real glad we waited long enough to get Married six weeks ago. The only things we both regret are in the MANTRA above - A Quote from ZACHERY SCOTT. *Some of the things we didnt do - when we had the the chance - when we were Younger !* We guess that applies to everybody ! I have chosen ELVIS singing *MY WAY* in Hawaii in the Concert which raised the funds to build the Memorial to the S S ARIZONA. Which is very moving when one realises it is a War Cemetery. ELVIS was 38 and four years later he was DEAD from POLYPHARMACY ! On of our regrets is that ELVIS is no longer with us TODAY @ 85. The QUOTES about REGRETS are from Senior Personalities (some are surprising) and they suggest things we might do or avoid ! Love ANGELA & BRIAN 💛💛💛

*GENESIS Chapter 6 v 5 & 6 When GOD saw how wicked MANKIND on Earth was ~ and how evil their thoughts. He regretted He had created them and given them the Earth for a Home. GOD said *I will eliminate MANKIND from the face of the EARTH !* BUT NOAH fqund favour in the sight of the LORD ~ AMEN ! It wasnt GOD who made a mistake it was MANKIND who abused the FREEWILL GOD had given them and they paid the consequences. Just as we do TODAY with all the NEGATIVE Consequences of GLOBAL WARMING etc etc.

GOOD MORNING DA ~ Brian here. Thanks for your OBJECTIVE COMMENT ! In the genre of MODERN POETRY even a Shopping list is a VIABLE ODE ! Most of our so-called *POEMS* do Rhyme & Scan. Technically MPS is a POETRY SITE ! - but it does contain GOBBLE-DE-GOOK - Prose and some contributions with niether Rhythm nor Rhyme. Most of our contubutions are collaborations and we do take a lot of time & trouble chosing A Picture & A Video to ameliorate the Script. We consider a well ordered LIST which informs & educates to be a LEGITIMATE contribution to MPS - even though technically (like many other postings) it is not a Poem - OK ! Todays *Poem* is (as you have already noticed) less Listical & more Lyrical !

I had sad moments I clung onto that I thought was regrets, I now see there should be no such thing and I'll try my hardest not to teach it to my children...
As we know I'm not on that page, but if god regrets Adam & eve, we would not exist.. Right? Was that toung and cheek as I did find it funny!

BRIAN HERE - Thanks for your comment PD - we should treat all our so-called REGRETS as Learning Experiences and benefit from them NOT dwell on them !
As far as ADAM & EVE were concerned - despite the fact that they dissapointed their Creator (GOD) he didnt destroy them and they lived & died just like us ! In GENESIS 6 it was the descendents of A & E that disappointed GOD even more. So GOD descided to cleanse the EARTH destroying MANKIND but saving All the Animals in the ARK - and NOAH & His Family - and starting again all over again ! OK
