ghosts

AJ

What we know as we know it;

The transfer of energy

We are vessels bound on course

And at time we retire

As the earth from which we came

And as the people too

Where we've trod, who we've touched

In the ripples we rage

As thoughts and as love

Neurons fire in yearning hearts

Vivid memory and vivid despair

Vivid peace in the haze of time passed

We struggle and rage

Where nothing is ever destroyed

Just energy transferred

And made temporary home

In the eyes which you had known

In the open eyes that have known you
