How Much Is a Soul
Some do-gooder even had a soul weighed
The measure, vessel deducted, is 21 gram
But was it allotted out of an even program
Or just chanced to be of a random made
Hence the dilemma, involving much hate
To be consequentially of much more weight
Or for Heaven’s sake, ready for the flight
A soul should rid the gravity to travel light

When PEACE like a River attendeth My Way
When SORROWS like Seas Billows roll
Whatever My Lot - GOD has taught me to know
It is well - It is well with my SOUL !

The infamous effort to weigh the soul was silly, just like "experiments" to determine if praying for gravely ill patients affects their outcomes. Imagine if God let those not prayed for die but helped the others, or if the earth were to spin out of its orbit from all the mass lost as souls escape to their eternity elsewhere during the pandemic! But whatever one believes or doubts, it is clear that your final couplet is inspired by something! It is in a word divine:
Or for Heavenβs sake, ready for the flight
A soul should rid the gravity to travel light
