My Little Dreamer Friend

Written 2012 about a dear friend of mine

Wee dreamer on a bus so fast
Trying to escape the messages from the past
Not listening to the thoughts in your head
Listening to the pitter patter on the dashboard instead

It's funny how you pick yourself up,
When you're always hearing that you aren't good enough

Little dreamer wondering throughout the fields of life
I will share my light with you, in pure delight
I have no worries and not a bad bone in sight

We'll sing until our lungs burn out and drink 'til are legs can't stand you're my little dreamer friend, I said you're my little dreamer, friend.
