Ticking Clock

Vacancy

I don’t think this world is real.

Tick, tock, there are only seconds left on my clock.

I thought I knew how to live.

To give some semblance of an explanation.

This is just a dream and soon I will wake.

I don’t think this world is real.

I want to sleep but it just won’t come.

Warped and twisted, I’ve reached a point.

Tick tock there are only seconds left on my clock.

These are the moments before my departure.

I will be free from the voices.

I don’t think this world is real.

Can’t stand this emptiness.

My head is horrible, stop the pounding.

Tick, tock, there are only seconds left on my clock.

The sound of a ringing alarm.

I wouldn’t dare wait longer.

I don’t think this world is real.

Tick, tock, there are only seconds left on my clock.
