The Days Gone And Done

ThomasMikaelson 15

I sit here another night,

The cold day gone and done,

I realised in here waiting my life had become undone,

I sit here and view another life,

So filled with love and joy,

Wanting to be apart of it,

But that chapter is far gone and done.

So i sit here and view this perfect life,

Thinking what if’s,

As another chapter is closing i still sit and think,

Of past chapters gone in the winds of time,

And what could of been,

If she hadn’t gone away.

Would these chapters be oh so different or very much the same,

If a good friend hadn’t left and took a piece of me away,

So i now sit again and think of past times,

Of when life was so easy and not so full of lies.

So I conclude this chapter here in this poem,

I deduce that the past can no longer be present,

and sorrow can’t become happiness,

So i mourn for those past times,

And wish i could change them,

But it will never be the same,

As i first experienced them.
